This is a video journey following the Neubert brothers as they trek 180km through the Swiss Alps.
The Haute Route is a hiking route from Chamonix, France to Zermatt, Switzerland and this is the movie that Brandon Neubert created documenting their epic journey.
This cinematic feature of the Swiss Alps shares the most iconic destinations and waypoints of the Haute Route.
Filmmaker Brandon Neubert strove to focus on the photographic beauty of Switzerland attempting to capture its majestic landscape to inspire you for your next hike adventure.
Together with his brother, they hiked 130 miles (210km) and climbed 30,866 feet (9,408m) from Chamonix, France to Zermatt, Switzerland and other locations. This trek took them through quaint villages, beneath quiet forests, over ancient glaciers and over massive cols. During these 14 days they hiked through all kinds of weather and terrain through what could only be described as a "challenging hike".
It certainly doesn't look easy, but with the beautiful footage they captured, it certainly seemed worth it.
The movie features maps, summaries, photography, drone footage, beautiful music and shot in clear 4K.
