This weekend, the NEC in Birmingham will welcome over 25,000 runners as the running event of the year, National Running Show, kicks off with its biggest and best event yet.
This annual celebration of running, now in its seventh year, promises an inspiring and immersive experience for runners of all abilities, featuring a multitude of exciting new features, world-class speakers, over 200 brands, expert advice, and community initiatives.
The event is the perfect place to stave off that mid-January slump and to add a huge adrenaline shot to those New Years’ resolutions. A home for those who are just starting their running journey through to those who frequent the trails on multi-day ultras, National Running Show will help inspire a year of incredible running adventures with the help of some of most experienced and well-known runners in the UK including Sir Mo Farah, Dame Kelly Holmes, Eilish McColgan, David Weir, Vassos Alexander, Nicky Spinks, Jasmin Paris, Priya Gopaldas, Robbie Britton and dozens more.
With over 200 brands on site, runners can get all of the kit, tech, nutrition and hydration products they need at the Show not to mention advice from brand professionals and bespoke advice about what products are right for them. Runners can shop brands including adidas, Altra, Asics, Science in Sport, Hoka, Hilly, Mizuno, Salomon and more.

The Travelator: An exhilarating experience for runners to challenge themselves on a moving walkway.
Harrier Trail Running Zone: Featuring esteemed guest speakers Rhys Jenkins, Loyd Purvis, Gary House, and Keri Wallace, this zone is a treasure trove of insights for trail running enthusiasts.
Lake District Sky Trails Mountain Running Zone: A breathtaking exploration of mountain running with picturesque landscapes.
OCR Zone from Wolf Run: Obstacle Course Racing enthusiasts can test their mettle in this thrilling zone.
Multi-day Ultra Running Masterclass: Hosted by Ourea Events, featuring special guests Hugh Chatfield, Jo Meek, James Nobles, and Lisa Watson.
Stretch and Mobility for Runners with Ania Gabb: A dedicated session to enhance flexibility and prevent injuries.
Interactive Zones: CPR workshops, Pilates Studio, Kids Lane, the Run Club Hub, sponsored by England Athletics) and the ever-popular; Steve Cram Training Camp.
Do your bit: Donate old trainers and kit to support charitable initiatives including Jogon and Preloved Sports plus repurpose old medals to inspire kids to embrace running on the Runr stand.
