We caught up with Roger Black MBE at the National Running Show Xtra talking about taking the outside...in!
Roger represented Great Britain at the highest level in athletics for fourteen years at 400m and 4x400m relay. He won fifteen major Championship medals including European, Commonwealth, and World Championship Gold Medals.
His greatest achievements were winning the Olympic 400m Silver Medal in 1996 and 4x400m World Championship Gold Medals in 1991 and 1997.
He is particularly admired for overcoming many serious injuries and setbacks throughout his career.
He is now a successful speaker, partner in BackleyBlack and Perform in Property with fellow Olympian Steve Backley, and owner of Roger Black Fitness.
