The seventh edition of the eBike challenge travels to four countries across Europe
Stuttgart/Reutlingen – The Bosch eMTB Challenge, supported by Trek, invites eBike riders of all ages and abilities to prove their skills at the seventh edition of the competition. From 30 April through to 13 August riders will compete across varied trails in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
Four scenic locations
In 2023, the Bosch eMTB Challenge begins on 30 April in Riva del Garda, Italy. The route is set to follow the trails around Lake Garda alongside the Garda Trentino BIKE Festival. From 26-29 May, the competition heads to Germany’s biggest mountain bike and outdoor fair, BIKE Festival Willingen, before crossing over to the United Kingdom for Ard Rock Festival between 21-23 July. The eMTB Challenge series finale will take place against an impressive Alpine backdrop at the Verbier E-Bike Festival in Switzerland between 10-13 August.
Open to all abilities
The eMTB Challenge will split participants into 'Amateur' and 'Advanced' categories. The 'Advanced' participants will face increasingly difficult sections where only those who combine skillful riding technique and good orientation with a high level of fitness and intelligent battery use will secure a place among the best.
The Bosch eMTB Challenge has brought eMTB riders of different abilities together since 2017. To take part, participants must possess a good level of eMTB riding technique as well as previous trail experience. The competition format combines a challenging but enjoyable ride across varied trails in a way that promotes interaction between the athletes of the eMTB community.
